Jason & Andria....

Well well.... As I have promised, I'm here to show you all on the pictures of my buddy's wedding on 17th & 18th June 2006... This is not a registration my friend... This is the actual Chinese style marriage ceremony... hehe.. I am honoured that I was invited to be the 'heng tai' for the day... I am truly touched by it...
To be honest, this was my first time to be 'heng tai' for wedding coz maybe he's the first one to get married in my circle of friends... Anyway, it was a very enjoyable trip and happy as well seeing my buddy settling down... So happy...

Cake Cutting Ceremony during the bride's side dinner...
So, as for the experience being 'heng tai', its not as bad as you all think it is.. The main task is to protect the groom from kena tricks... You will have to try to negotiate your way through the 'chi mui' at the bride's side.. The one that I had experienced was firstly doing push ups... They required the groom to do 20 push ups.. Lucky not 200... if not sure 'pancit' one... Then as a 'heng tai' we helped out in dividing the task... each of us take 2... heheh.. but in the end, our dear friend have to do the 20 also.. :o)
The next thing was like in every episode of Fear Factor where u have to EAT!! your way through... Yum Yum.. I took a peep on whats on the menu and to my surprise they have those hottest little CHILLI!! in town... Quickly we turn our head to our friend who can take spicy.. Mr. Super Dev... But fortunately this little dish did not come up... Whew! What a relieve... What we all took were rock sugar (no problem at all), little lime (really sour I tell you.. until all of us cannot open our eyes), and lastly the bitterness came in... raw BITTERGOURD!! Some of us having nightmare of this dish... But we manage to pull it through... No sweat..
Next stage.. Ipoh Idol competition... We have to sing our way through.. Ok.. 'Kacang Putih' this one... Singing only mah... But the rule is different... We have to sing 5 different songs in different language that carries the word I LOVE YOU!!! Opps... Our groom dunno how to sing other language than English... Hm... But we guided him through.. We sang in English, Mandarin, Bahasa, Cantonese and even Latin!!... Good leh...
After these stages, the army still finds it not enough... So we planned something out of it and out of sudden without their knowledge, we launched a counter attack... We have to squeeze our way through and grab the army and make way for our hero to rescue the princess... and I'm telling you.. its not easy... wanna know why? take a look at the army....

Luckily we are not out numbered!!!!!

So.. after the groom got into the bride's room, the ceremony began.. there were praying session and tea ceremony... Actually there are photos on this ceremony but sadly cannot upload it due to space constrain.. Sigh.. anyway, we headed back to KL and prepare for the groom's side dinner...
Cake cutting at Overseas Restaurant, Amcorp Mall, PJ....

Actually I have snapped quite a number of photos with my little camera.. I think about 200+ pictures but I can't upload it... Wanna see more? Do let me know... To be honest, I do actually love to take pictures... Maybe part time can become a photographer.. ahahhaah...
