Sherman & Carmen

Ok.. I have been to another wedding last month.. If you can recall, this wedding is from the post which I have posted on June... This was their actual wedding ceremony.... This time round, I was the driver for the groom and wherever the groom wanted to go, I'm the man on the steering wheel.. The night before, the groom had their dinner at Mid Valley, Spring Garden Restaurant.. You must be asking why not on the night after the ceremony.. Well, I was told that the reservation was fully booked for that night.. Hm.. Must be really good business...
We're suppose to be picking up the bride about 8.30am on Sunday and to my surprise, when I reach the groom's place, this is what I saw...

Peace My Man.. I'm still on my pyjamas...

Well, happy man was still on the pyjamas... But actually we still have time so why not.. hehe.. Few minutes later, the brothers were all arriving to gear up for 'Lets Pick Up The Bride' session...

Heng Tai chilling out...

While waiting for the groom the get ready, I was helped out to carry the stuffs that we needed to bring along with us to the bride's place... We have a basket of oranges with wine, roast pig, and of course the most important of all, the hand bouquet...

We started our journey and reached the bride's place about 9.00am and following Chinese customs, the groom have to wait outside for a while to let the bride to get ready, the younger brother have to feed the groom and last but not least, the sisters/army to get ready... In the mean time, the parents started to prepare for prayers..

Arrived at the bride's place.. Ok.. I'm starting to get nervous now..

Ok... Door opened already.. Where's my ang pow?

One big egg with one bite.. Imagine how big his mouth is.. Umm.. Yummy..
Parents in Law preparing for prayers....

The gifts we brought along with us...
Its time to go and get the bride.... Of course you can't unless you complete the tasks as the sisters told you to do... The groom have to do push up and say I Love You in 8 different languages.. Eh.. Not that easy mate.. He has to take a bite of crackers with chilli sauce in between and while doing the push up and say the word I Love You... He completed this task like eating peanuts.. After that, he has to do pole dancing and of course, as brothers, we negotiated but failed.. and I have to be the pole for him... The father-in-law brought make it more fun by singing with a guitar... Not bad man I say...

He really can qualify for Elvis mate...

Pole dancing session... I'm the pole...

To satisfy the crowd, he does as they wanted.. We danced.. I'm the pole and the groom took off some button.. ahaha.. the sisters went wild... Actually there were more tasks but as always, the mother-in-law came and ask them hold on to their horses and let the groom go due to the time constraint... hehe.. Lucky for us!!

Muacks!!!! Finally....

Isn't this couple cute? Hehe... Nice smell you got there.. Sniff Sniff..

Prayer Session...
After the prayers and of course its time for the tea ceremony... Nowadays tea ceremony is getting casual unlike last time when my uncles and aunties got married and have to be serious... In this century, during the ceremony, the relatives around can crack jokes and laughing all the way... But of course this is supposed to be a happy occassion and laughing is nothing wrong.. After all that, we made our way back to grooms place and the ceremony was repeated... I meant the tea ceremony... and all other people started their lunch that was provided by the groom's parents...
The bouquet...
Yes.. Here we go... Darling carry into the room...
That's all for the post this time and wish this newly wed a everlasting marriage.. hehe...
